Symphonic Episode I

The "I" in the title stands for the commissioning wind orchestra association Iwata and, read as a number, is also an expression of hope for a successor to this impressive work in the same style. "Symphonic Episode I" begins with a slow introduction, the following parts are alternately fast, slow and fast again. The slow part of the chorale captivates with Yagisawa's typically emotional, warm sounds.
