Shortly after the chartbuster 'The Godfather' had been released we published the main theme 'Speak softly love'. When we noticed that the music once again played a preponderant role in Francis Ford Coppola's movie picture 'Godfather II' we thought a fine selection of the main themes arranged for symphonic band was a must. Marcel Peeters made a thrilling selection starting, as the film does, with a mysterious flugelhorn solo leading to some minutes of suspense in the pure mafia tradition.
