After 'Beauty and the Beast' theWalt Disney Studios produced another very successful cartoon late in 1993. 'Aladdin' was of course inspired by the famous fairy tale from the eternal evergreen collection 'Thousandand one Nights'. The producers, well aware of the saying 'never give up a winning horse', once more invited the composers Menken andAshmantowrite the sound-trackmusic. In this most enjoyable selection, made by Willy Hautvast, you will recognize succesively 'Arabian Nights', 'Friend likeMe', 'One Jump ahead', the popular title song 'A Whole New World' and finally 'Prince Ali'.
